Dolphins Win WRFA/NC Competition in STMA Zone

The Western Region Football Association (WRFA) Normalization Committee (NC)  Division  Soccer Competition in the STMA have come to an end successfully with Dolphins Team emerging as winners. They received a giant Trophy with a cash prize of Ghc500.
The second team, Givoa also received Ghc200 with the best player award going to a player from them. The cash for the awards and cup was sponsored by Hon. Andrew Egyapa Mercer of Sekondi Constituency.
 Mr. Wilfred Osei Parma, an aspiring GFA Chairman have also contributed GHC 2500 in support with the officiating and promised his support till the Special tournament is over.
Other individuals who have supported the  on going Special Tournament are Hon. Bonzo Kwasi of Ellembele District, Hon. Wilson Arthur of Daboasi District and WRSC Chairman, Hon. K. K. Sam of STMA, Hon. Athur of Shama District, Hon Mrs Henrietta Mary Eyison,  MCE of Ahanta West Assembly and Hon.MP Kojo Kum.
We are still waiting for the other Assemblies and Members of Parliament in the competing Districts to contribute to the development of football in the Region.
Nana Kaku Bulu, the Vice Chairman of the WRFA expressed satisfaction in the Special Tournament, even though there has been few hitches resulting from disagreements over officiating.
