Central Music Awards 2017 winner, eShun who missed out on nominations for the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) has said she will work harder this year to earn a nomination in the next VGMAs.
eShun, who obviously was disappointed in missing out in the previous VGMAs, before the awards, was quoted to have said she was bigger than any award scheme. She later explained the statement meant her talent is not limited to awards and she wouldn’t base on awards to do what she wants to do.
In an interview with Barrister Daniels on the Local Chart Show last Saturday on ATL FM, when asked if she expects a nomination in the next VGMAs, the Fa me Kor singer said “I will say yes, we keep working, the board will know we deserve it…this year the promotion will be double so if there’s no nomination we know there will be an Anas thing (laughs)”
eShun who plans to release two other singles, Testimony and Akyea aside her recent one I want, plans to release her debut album in December.
I want was released on 24th May 2018, it was produced by Moniebeatz and is currently enjoying massive airplay across the country most especially in the central region.
“This song is the biggest song anybody will hear this year..it will pave way for Testimony, Akyea and the album finally in December. They will play this song more than any other of mine” she opined.
