Number one communication network in Ghana, MTN, toady donated hampers to children born on 25 December (Christmas day) at the Tarkwa government hospital as part of the company’s agenda of spreading love in this festive season.
In all, 25 hampers were donated to 23 mother (two mothers delivered twins) who delivered yesterday at the facility.
The Acting Regional Senior Manager for MTN, Mr Yakubu T Mohammed in a short speech preceding the presentation said the the gesture was part of the company’s long desire to assist in the health delivery in the country and was taking advantage of the festive season
“As we all know, this is the season we share gifts. For MTN, its been a culture for us to give hampers to newly born babies and this gesture is happening across the length and breadth of our country. This is also in line with our commitment to contribute to the progress of health delivery in the country” Mr Mohammed intimated.
Pebitey Melody, a Senior Midwife with at the hospital who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to MTN on behalf of the beneficiaries (Clients) and expressed hope that the communication giant will continue to support the facility in all endeavors.
