GFA Presidential hopeful Winfred Osei Kweku Palmer provided cash support of two thousand five hundred Ghana cedis (Ghc 2500) as his widows mite for the normalization committee division two tournament in Western region.
The owner of the Tema based division one club, Tema Youth who has always had a long lasting passion for grassroots and juvenile football dished out the cash to the Western regional football association as his support for the tournament.
The tournament which covers all zones in the region had Dolphins FC as its winner for the Sekondi-Takoradi zone last weekend,Tanoekuba FC were also champions of the Nzema zone.
Nana Kaku Bulu,Vice chair of the Western regional football association, after receiving the cash donation expressed gratitude to Winfred Palmer for his support and also thanked Mr Wilson Arthur,owner of Skyy fc,Andrew Agyapa Mercer(Sekondi MP),Mr Joseph Amoah(Shama DCE) and several other dignitaries who have supported in diverse ways to make the tournament a success.
